Elastic hydraulic hoses are used in hydraulic drives and controls, where working fluids are mineral oils, water-oil emulsions, water etc. They are made of rubber hoses with 1, 2, 3, 4 or 6 steel wire braids, with metal ferrules crimped at ends. Ferrules may be made of zinc-plated carbon steel or stainless steel AISI 316, optionally AISI 304.
